Sweet Cassie (Acacia farnesiana) Absolute

$18.00

Sweet Cassie is a cousin to Mimosa and a radiant floral addition to perfume. Cassie has a fragrant honey sweet floral bouquet with discernable hints of violet and tenacious powdery balsamic undertone. A warming woody floral to used to smooth out or soften aromatic blends. Our Sweet Cassie Absolute is produced in Egypt where the Acacia farnesiana shrubs have been cultivated for many years for perfumery production. This valuable and limited perfumery material is only produced in small amounts each year. Luckily for natural perfumers, Sweet Cassie Absolute is also very powerful. Use at minimal dilutions as low as .05% for beautiful effects. Try blending with Frankincense, Rose Otto, Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Orris, Ylang Ylang and more.

A note on absolutes: Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic materials. Their aroma is best observed in alcohol or carrier oil. Try diluting into one of our premium carrier oils or into alcohol at 5%, 10% or 20% and see how the scent will subtley change.

Thank You!

This product was shipped to me at near lightning speed. It was packaged carefully with tissue paper and a bubble wrap bag in padded cardboard. The aroma out of the bottle first struck me as cucumbery and then it does a bold crescendo into melons and rock candy and heavily showers down in notes of violet and orange blossom. It is a mouth watering smell I never will forget. It feels like Summer and warms your very core. I now realise I have smelled these flowers many times. I plant to purchase this product many more times as it exceeded my very high expectations. Thanks again!
