Return Policy
Every product is made to order to ensure maximum quality and freshness, so we are restricted from accepting returned products for refunds. Due to the personal nature of our products and our commitments to quality and freshness, all sales are final.
Fulfillment mistakes resulting in the shipment of an incorrect product will be accepted for return. In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect item, please contact Client Care within 48 hours of receipt for a return authorization.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must have a tamper evident seal that is intact and be unopened and unused. We cannot accept a return on opened products or products without a tamper evident seal, even if they have not been used.
Our exchange policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We would love to answer any questions you may have about any of our products before (and after) you purchase them. Subtle variations between batches of botanical extractions are to be expected. We recommend sampling a smaller size if you are unsure about purchasing a larger quantity of something.
EU Return and Withdrawal Policy
- Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period) If you are located in the EU and purchase goods from us online, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by emailing a clear statement including the Order Email, Order Number, Your Name, Address, Date Received, Item(s) You Wish to Return and Reason for Return (optional for withdrawal) to info@risingsunbotanicals.com or by using the EU Withdrawal Form.
- Conditions for Returns To qualify for a return under the right of withdrawal the item must be unused and in its original sealed packaging. Essential oils, cosmetics, and other liquid products cannot be returned once opened for health and hygeine reasons (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(e)). You must send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
- Products Excluded from Withdrawal Under EU law, the following items cannot be returned: opened essential oils, cosmetics or other sealed hygiene products, custom-made or personalized items, services already fully performed with your prior agreement.
- Return Shipping Costs You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. You may choose any carrier, but we recommend a tracked service. If a package containing returned goods is lost in transit, we are not obligated to refund the items.
- Refunds Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will issue a refund within 14 days. Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Refunds may be reduced if the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, or functioning.
