Ambrette Seed Essential Oil has a sophistication and roundness that is rarely encountered in natural perfume materials. This is a steam distillation of whole, dried, crushed tropical ambrette musk mallow seeds. It is processed in India from wild gathered seeds of the Hibiscus abelmoschus plant. It is a viscous oil with interesting nutty and ambery notes and distinctly rich fatty musky scent that is very long lasting. Used in fine perfumes, Ambrette Essential Oil is known for it's natural musk that has an exalting effect on fragrance compositions. We think ambrette pairs particularly well with sandalwood, rose and neroli, to name a few. This Ambrette Essential Oil is more appropriate for oil based formulations.
