Until now, the iconic Rose de Mai essence of Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, is typically only available as a solvent extracted absolute oil. Our new, rare and completely organic Provence Rose blossom extraction is expertly produced without the use of harsh chemical solvents. CO2 technology is employed to capture the exquisite aroma of organically cultivated Rosa centifolia flowers yielding a thick luscious Rose de Mai oil totally free of inorganic materials and solvents. Fully dissolvable into oil bases and partially soluble in alcohol.

Rose de Mai, also know as Rose Maroc, exhibits a rosey floral aroma that is uniquely clear, rich and sweet with lingering hints of honey. Our Rose de Mai displays excellent tenacity and will blend synergistically with most other botanicals. One of the most widely used rose essences in perfumery. Enhance your aromatic creations with this regal rose.  Rose extracts are wonderously complex in their make up, consisting of hundreds of different chemical constituents. A thick and extremely concentrated material perfect for natural perfumes, cosmetics, aromatherapy, annointing oils and more.

Extremely beautiful and floral

I have rose de mai absolute from grasse, the same production and oil that makes its way into chanel no. 5

I wanted a co2 to use in a face product that would be untouched by chemical solvents so I requested a rosa centifolia co2 from this company and they didn't dissapoint.

I've compared both oils side by side, unlike rose de mai from Grasse which is cool and bright, this rosa centifolia has warm honeyed notes but in terms of the floral smells they are both absolutely gorgeous.

I'm very impressed with the quality and smell. I have a moroccan rose absolute that compared to this, smells harsh and green, more plant than flowers so you definitely get what you pay for and this tunisian rose is worth paying for.
