Our sweet vernal grass absolute, also known as Flouve, has a wonderfully rich and deep hay / vanilla like aroma. It is one of the most complex and highly sought absolutes used in perfumery. So complex, so many layers!! Sweet vernal grass has so many notes to reveal in different dilutions. Aromas of baled hay, grass, dried sweet fruits like raisin and fig with hints of Vanilla will add depth to any perfumers palette. Tobacco, Honey, and tea are other notes that come to mind when observing the scent.

Flouve absolute is very diffusive and tenacious. Blends beautifully with so many essential oils and absolutes. It has a special affinity for "green" and mossy oils such as oakmoss. Can be used to soften intense florals and blends wonderfully with citrus oils. Trace amounts can have profound effects on a formula. We have pre-diluted the thick Flouve absolute 50% into organic perfumers alcohol to provide to you in a more usable form.
