This rare frankincense absolute exudes a rich resinous aroma with hints of incense smoke, subtle floral notes and whispers of citrus. This pure absolute oil is very thick, sticky and a bit tricky to work with. It is however, slowly mobile and it is not as hard as a solid resin.
We deliver this absolute in a miron glass jar for easy retrieval and ease of use. Upon arrival let the jar sit upright so the absolute will slowly fall to the bottom of the jar before carefully and slowly opening. You can use a tool or toothpick to easily remove some from the jar. Gentle heat will make it move more and it will become more pourable if needed. Mix into essential oils and alcohol for ready to use dilutions.

A note on absolutes: Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic materials. Their aroma is best observed in alcohol or carrier oil. Try diluting into one of our premium carrier oils or into alcohol at 5%, 10% or 20% and see how the scent will subtley change.
