The Kukui Nut Tree was first brought to Hawaii by early settlers from Polynesia. Also known as candlenut tree, the Kukui nut provided them light. Kukui has always been an important part of Hawaiian culture and is now the official Hawaii state tree. Keep away from extreme temperatures, cosmetic use only.
