Eucalyptus absolute. So many words to describe the scent. Pine, Moss, Wood, Forest, Herbal, Green, dried currants, Fresh fir needles, Hints of ripe fruit and dried fruit. Warm and resinous. So complex and captivating.
Our eucalyptus absolute is also an excellent fixative. It is thick and rich, undiluted and pure. You can blend it into oils, alcohol or other essential oils in any concentration you desire. The absolute is very different when compared to the essential oil. The absolute lacks the medicinal and sharp pungent camphorous notes so prevalent in eucalyptus essential oils.
This absolute is an exciting addition to the perfumers palette. We offer this absolute in a convenient Miron glass jar for ease of use. Upon arrival, let the jar sit up right for a bit so the absolute settles to the lower part of the jar. Open carefully and enjoy!
A note on absolutes: Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic materials. Their aroma is best observed in alcohol or carrier oil. Try diluting into one of our premium carrier oils or into alcohol at 5%, 10% or 20% and see how the scent will subtley change.
